Douglas B. Rudman
Douglas B. Rudman is a partner with Rudman & Smith. Mr. Rudman graduated from Washington University School of Law in 1990. While at Washington University School of Law Mr. Rudman was a Law Review member of the Urban & Contemporary Journal of Law.
Prior to Rudman & Smith, Mr. Rudman has served in the public sector in a wide variety of roles including a law clerk for the Honorable Roy Harper United States District Judge of the Eastern District of Missouri, an Assistant and then Associate St. Louis County Counselor, Special Assistant City Attorney, City of St. Charles, Missouri and as Special Assistant United States Attorney, Eastern District of Missouri.
Mr. Rudman is admitted to practice in Missouri State Courts, Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court, United States District Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Rudman has participated in a wide variety of civic and charitable organizations and has received numerous awards such as the United States Gold Congressional Medal Award.
Mr. Rudman has represented numerous clients to successful settlements, confidential mediations, administrative hearings, trials both in judge-tried and jury-tried cases and appeals involving significant awards and judgments. Mr. Rudman has extensive experience in complex-multi part litigation as well as litigation in matters of sensitive nature.
